do more . get ahead . go far . spread

F/M Food Not Lawns is a group of guerrilla gardeners and urban farmers who are looking for like-minded individuals to join us in our efforts to share resources and information, educate, and collaborate while working to increase our collective food security.
How to Participate in Food Not Lawns
"There are as many ways to grow and share food as there are people in the world, but most Food Not Lawns activists tend toward certain types of agriculture. We like to grow organically. We tend to save our seeds. We enjoy hosting community workshops and neighborhood seed swaps."
Future activities may include: container and/or square-foot gardening workshops, (seed) bombing, group volunteering/service, and seed/seedling exchanges.  We are also looking for creative folks to help us increase awareness of food justice issues within the cities of Fargo/Moorhead while promoting our various (ad)ventures.  Together we hope to enjoy new experiences and hone our abilities.  Everyone is encouraged to submit ideas for future projects or information to share with the group.
